Local Produce Market
The town's Local Produce Market runs on the fourth Saturday of every month and sells high quality food, drink and crafts from a c.10 mile radius of Chesham. You can find us in Market Square and the upper end of the High Street between 10am and 2pm. Our market is a fantastic opportunity to try the local produce on your doorstep, at your convenience. And if you're concerned by the recent food industry scandals, what better way to shop than by meeting and talking to the people who make the food before you buy it?
We have a great range of produce on sale, including beef, pork, chicken, rose veal, eggs, cakes, home-made ready-meals, chocolate, honey, seasonal fruit and vegetables, baked goods, curry sauces, preserves and chilli sauces. And for crafts we have ceramics, cards and silver jewellery. We also have beautiful, ornamental plants on sale. See our regular stall holders.

The local produce market is run by Chesham Town Council in partnership with Transition Town Chesham. The market was set up to support local producers and reduce the food miles consumed by Chesham's residents to help create a more sustainable community.
If you are a local producer and interested in attending our markets, please contact us, as we currently have a waiting list. You can call us on 01494 583798 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We also have a free stall at each market for Chesham-based community groups and charities - please get in touch if you think your organisation would qualify.
