Parking Stage 2 - Statutory Consultation
Chesham: Various Roads - Statutory Consultation for Parking and Waiting Restrictions
Subject: Statutory Consultation on Proposed Parking and Waiting Restrictions, Various Roads in Chesham.
Overview & Background
Following requests from Chesham Town Council, Transport for Buckinghamshire has been commissioned to address safety and parking concerns at some junctions and along some roads in Chesham. After consideration of the responses obtained from the Informal Consultation that was undertaken in July 2018, proposals for a number of restrictions such as ‘No waiting at any time’ (double yellow line) and shared use of “1 hour waiting” bays have been developed to assist with the concerns and we are now undertaking the Statutory Consultation on these proposals, details of which - including plans of the proposed restrictions and how to object can be found in the Have Your Say section below.
The Statutory Consultation will run from 22nd November 2018 to 13th December 2018.
A copy of the Order and Plans showing the lengths of road affected, together with a copy of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be viewed here (PDF, 5.9 MB) or inspected during normal opening hours at County Hall, Aylesbury or Chesham Town Hall.
